Depth
Gently scatter seeds over the soil in a container, then gently scatter soil over the seeds.

Requirements
Water minimally. Seedlings are prone to damping off. Full sun in the garden. pH 6-6.5

Seeds will sprout in 14-28 days.

Pests
Like many aromatic herbs, thyme repels many pests.

Timing
Plant the seeds/cuttings 2 to 3 weeks before the last spring frost. Plant outside after danger of frost has passed in well-drained soil.

Growing
Find a sunny, warm spot. Thyme will enjoy being grown in sandy soil or with some gravel or decorative rocks. Do not overwater.
