Description
Hemerocallis minor – common names: dwarf daylily, grassleaf lily and small daylily.
Herbaceous flowering perennial with long stalks and wide flowers arching over a clump of long pointed green leaves. Flowers will bloom from May through June.
Prefers full or partial sun and fertile loamy soil, plenty of water and mulch at the base, for cool hydrated roots. Will flower throughout the summer. The plant grows up to 1 to 2 feet high.
This species is easy to grow, given the right placement, and can be propagated via seedpods and division.
