The parsley-like leaves are used in Latin American and Asian cooking. The mature seeds, known as coriander, are also used in many dishes. Best direct-seeded. With a bit of cover it will cheerfully overwinter. Unmistakable strong, sharp scent and taste that has become the staple ingredient in salsa and other Mexican dishes.  Grows to a height of 50 cm (20″).

Requirements
Herbs do best in a hot, sunny spot. In these conditions they’ll make the highest level of the aromatic oils that give them their taste and aroma. They also prefer well-drained alkaline soil, pH 6-8.

Seeds will sprout in 10-15 days

Pests
Repels harmful insects such as aphids, spider mites and potato beetle. A tea from this can be used as a spray for spider mites.

Timing
Direct sow in the late spring soil, sowing every few weeks for a longer season of harvest.

Growing
Pinch frequently to increase branching and bushiness. Herbs are perfect for growing in pots or in hanging baskets.
