The Danvers 126 Carrot begets its name from its locale of origin: danvers Massachusetts. Its flavour is noticeably sweet and will remain such after weeks and months of cold storage. It is resistant to cracks and splits and does well in heavy soils due to its solid internal fibre structure. It is also Heat tolerant which is wonderful new for our wobbly climate.
