Enjoys full sun. pH 6.0-7.0.

Pests
Japanese beetles. Remove by hand and destroy. If birds become problematic, you can cover your canes with netting until berries are harvested.

Timing
Planting may be done in late fall, however, it should be delayed until early spring in very cold areas.

Growing
Add compost before planting. Blackberries will thrive in mulched soil around their base to prevent weeds.
